"After hopping the pond from the United Kingdom to the United States, I applied for a job in a retail store. Same story as many people in an entry-level job - I thought it would be the job I'd have until I found a different job.

The stars had a different plan for me!

It turned out I loved the customers and I loved the day to day and month to month operations of retail. I was excited every day because every day was different! I wore a hundred hats and juggled a thousand plates and I couldn't get enough. I was lucky to have a great manager and mentor in my first sales associate role. He helped me to elevate myself and get ready to take on my first leadership position. As I spent the next few years managing larger and larger Teams, and working up to positions where I managed managers, I realized that my true passion lay in leading, supporting, developing and mentoring aspiring leaders both on my Teams and across the organizations I worked for. I have been lucky throughout my whole career to have had inspirational leaders around me. These leaders have been my direct supervisors, peer managers, business partners and support Team members. My hope for Roz Clark Coaching is to have an opportunity to engage and inspire a new generation of leaders in the retail, food & beverage and hospitality industries - amongst others - where it is still possible to walk into a Sales Associate job, and walk our as CEO!"
